Обращение к сенату США и ЕС/AN OPEN LETTER TO THE US CONGRESS AND EUROPARLIAMENT

The moment has come. Not only Ukraine is on the verge of a civil war, but the whole Europe is on the verge of chaos. Are you ready to accept tens of thousands of refugees? Are you ready to share responsibility for another dictatorship in the heart of Europe?

Both the US Congress and Europarliament have repeatedly warned the Ukrainian regime and promised to apply punitive sanctions against the authorities responsible for the current political and civil crisis in the country. However, all we have seen up to date is total misunderstanding of the processes currently going on in Ukraine.

The violence on the streets is the last resort of the people to whom the regime has been turning a deaf ear for over three years. But the only violence we can set off against bombs and guns and torture is the cobbles, Molotov cocktail and our lives.

Isn’t it high time to show the Ukrainians some real support? The only thing we ask for is to apply punitive sanctions against Yanukovich personally for he is the one responsible for at least thirty dead and hundreds of wounded. Do it today because tomorrow it might be too late.
